About the Twins
What We Do
We are Elisa and Skadi, a dynamic and excited art duo from Amsterdam and Rotterdam. We combine the understanding of space and people with our passion for design. In tape we found the perfect material to express our urge for freedom, creativity, and the joy of working together. With our work, we want to create a playful connection with the people who look at it and the material. We want them to feel inspired and joyful by seeing an everyday material like tape used in a different way.
Our Story
No, we are not Twins. Yes, we started off as roomies! And hell yeah, we are the best teammates ever. Through pure randomness or the will of the universe, our paths crossed. Since 2018 we inspire and complement each other like no one before. Especially at 11 PM when we both came home from our daily adventures. Elisa's background in Curating and Project Management and Skadi's background in Design and Management Consulting makes us an unbelievable compatible Team- like Twins. Elisa thinks in geometric forms, space and the deeper meaning behind things and Skadi seems to have a stream of endless inspirations, energy, and colors inside of her. The secret of our twinning teamwork is that we have deep respect for each other and give each other space to be good at the things we are good at. We enjoy to use our creativity and determination to follow our dreams. Now based in Amsterdam and Rotterdam we still connect in the same special way and have taken on many fun tape projects.
